The Archaeology Corner:
Traveling to the Portuguese site of Conimbriga in 2024, we stopped at an archaeology museum and saw this collection of awesome earthen pottery. Conimbriga was a walled Roman settlement with a fascinating history. During the reign of Vespasian (69-79 BCE), Conimbriga became a municipium (an official town/city).
