I’m a transplanted Australian, living in the US for most of my life. I adore traveling to experience different cultures and history, and then incorporate some of that into my stories. In my other life, I’m an archaeologist and wildlife biologist. As a multi-genre author, I enjoy writing characters in unique situations and settings. Using strong female protagonists is a trope I enjoy, but not all my stories have a female protagonist. Writing male characters is sometimes tricky and I have to tread carefully so as not to make them unrealistic. Other things I love to do in addition to writing and travel, is gardening. I’m a plant freak and gardening is another creative outlet. I’m also a cat fanatic and bred hairless Sphynx cats for a while. Now I’m just owned by a half-Sphynx, crazy, kooky, loveable, and absolutely precious little furball named Saffy.
